Sometimes “The Road Less Traveled” is less traveled for a reason.
And for darn good reason too. For one, the bridge is broken and looks like it could crumble at any time.
Not too bad on the other side…
Right here isn’t too bad; at least on the left side of the road, but there isn’t any point trying to continue.
Well above my waist
I would really have loved to have a canoe or kayak today. I was interested in seeing how high the water was by my grandparents summer camp, but I guess that will have to wait until later on. I do, however, find this to be very fascinating. I have never come out this way this early in the year, and now I know why I haven’t. I still wish I had a boat with me.

It is a “Q” ; NOT a “Blueberry“
Despite what my wife may believe, a PDA cell phone is not called a “Blueberry.” This is a photo of my new phone, the Motorola Q (aka “MOTO Q”). It is very nice and has a bunch of features that I like, but I will talk about that later. Right now, I must dispute produce.
About a year ago, I was talking to my wife (fiancée at the time) about different types of cell phones and such. At the time, I was interested in owning a Blackberry-like phone someday so I could manage my time better, etc. After saying that I might get a Blackberry in future, she comically blurted out, “I want to get a Read the rest of this entry »

Big, Round, Ooey-Gooey Goodness ![]()
Pizza: Loaded with oodles, upon oodles, of cheese. This tantalizing array of mozzarella and cheddar probably isn’t what the doctor meant when he recommended a balanced diet. Think for a moment about the four main food groups. You know… bread, meat, dairy, and veggies. Let’s see… I think each food group has been accounted for rather generously.
Now tell me if I am in left-field on this one or not, “Pizza is a good balanced meal that tastes great.”

What did you think I was talking about
This is a photo of one of my new winter tires (Avalanche Extreme P195/60R15 88T) for my car (Nissan Sentra 1.8S). I have never driven with winter tires before, but looking at the tread, I might even be able to go four wheeling with my car now.
UPDATE: After driving my first winter with these tires, I am extremely pleased with their performance. These tires really came through when my all seasons would have veered me off the road. Highly recommended tires
